Rednesday is Back at 521 Lake Street!

It is Rednesday at Sue's It' a Very Cherry World. It feels good to kind of be back in the flow of things...I will be taking photos of my finished room in the next few days.....I just love it!

But for now, I thought I would show you some of my favorite red things in my kitchen.

This is one of my favorite ceramic trays I have, and the towel is a reproduction hand towel that I can't bear to use!

My "new" vintage kitchen stool.

A new fun crocheted potholder I found on Ebay. ( sorry it is so bright, the flash was acting up)

I had this sweet vintage rooster for years, it didn't have the spoons. Last spring I found the measuring spoons at a place in Minnesota for $2.00 brand new!

Oh, for those of you who follow my blog, look what I found at the dollar store!

Have a great Wednesday!!!!!!

That is so funny! I almost posted about that tray too! My mom got it for me a few years ago.

I just love all your reds. That stool is just calling to me. We always had a yellow one in our kitchen by the rotary wall phone. I used to sit and talk for hours on it. I wish I had room in my kitchen for one of those.

Thanks for sharing so many cute things!

I'm so glad you found some "good" necco's! I may have to go over to my dollar store and see if they have them. I, too was disappointed with the changes-- and don't even get me started on the conversation hearts!

Jill

Oooo, I love it all!!! Especially the darling tea towel. Funny...I never use any of mine either, cuz they're never the same after being used and washed.
Looking forward to pics of the Studio. : )

Say it isn't so. Necco is changing their formula on the wafers too? It was bad enough I learned on Valentines Day that my beloved conversation hearts were to be no more, but now the wafers. My husband read it on-line about the hearts. I learned about the wafers from you. I don't eat chocolate, so on Valentines Day I always have the hearts. I had warned my husband about the new gross tasting ones, too make sure he didn't get those. He had to hunt, store after store to find some at 7-11. He bought them. The wafers have always been his way of saying sorry, without saying sorry out loud. After an argument, a roll of Neccos would appear on the kitchen table. The on-line article said to hit up dollar stores for the hearts (didn't mention the wafers) so that is where I am going tonight. By the way, I am now a follower. Anyone who enjoys neccos and genealogy has my kind of post. I talked about my family's genealogy just last week on mine. Anyway, nice to meet you. Time to go to the dollar store.

Pretty, pretty reds! I had a vintage kitchen stool just like that. I gave it to my BF years ago before I realized how much I love vintage. I've never had the nerve to ask for it back. I guess I should just find my own. LOL
