Goodwill Hunting

Wasn't that the name of a movie??? :)

Well, after seeing on numerous blogs the great finds people were getting at Goodwill I finally got time to go to two of them, and I really had fun! All of this was 10.00!

I just love these kind of decorations! The wonderful colors of vintage ornaments, it is plastic but I am going to set it up high....no one will ever know! :)

This was actually two pieces but she gave it to me for 2.99....it is really pretty....and vintage feeling.

This sweet little blue vase is going to my Aunt Rosemary, some of you know about how special she is to me, she celebrated her 83rd birthday on December 7th. She loves this color blue and has a little collection she puts in her kitchen window so the sun can shine thru the glass. In this Goodwill bag-o-goodies there were a lot of fun plastic ornaments that will look great on a wreath!

This is a vintage box of lights, they are all red. I saw that Suzy at GeorgiaPeachez makes wreaths out of lights....really different! I am going to give it a try!

I have a real attachment to vintage jell-o molds....the little ones are going to end up Christmas presents....if I can get busy!

This bag was a steal at 2.99! It was chock full of goodies!

Isn't he cute???? Not my style, but I will re-donate him to my community's ornament collection.

The photo isn't the best, but the bell is loaded with sequins and sparklies! ( Is that even a word??? ) LOL The candle ornament reminds me of my Mom, she made a set of these for me.

Again, I am not into beaded ornaments, but these were well done! I will find them a home!

I have seen numerous creches on other blogs and thought I sure would like one....this one is pretty good size and perfect! I just love it! I remember these when I was a child...they used to be really small back then, made of plastic like this one and real kitschy!

This was a good day, I started out really early at Ikea, my friend Meri treated me to breakfast...a really good sized meal for 1.99! Then we went junkin' and to a scrapbook store....is that a perfect day or what? Have a great weekend!

By the way....Ikea had all of their Christmas items half price!

Wow! Less than $10? That's amazing! I've got to go Goodwill Hunting too. I really like the ornament tree that looks vintagey. Great post!

Are you going to share what you're going to do with the jello molds?

You got some great deals. Our goodwill store doesn't have as much to choose from as some do. We do have a few vintage stores with good prices though.
Blessings,

Ooh Sandy...
I love GW. You got some really great deals. They have really been putting out the Christmas stuff they last couple of days. I found several pieces myself. I love your lights. Aren't they just the best? Love the little blue dish. I also love the bags of goodies. They are my favorite as you never know what you are going to find inside of them. Lot of good stuff.

Thanks for sharing. Please stop by and say hi. I so love it when you do. Country hugs...Sherry

Hi, Sandy! You have a great Goodwill! My favorite item is the tree. I couldn't tell that the tree was plastic. ♥

It is amazing what you can get if you go regularly. Plus the money goes to charities.

I am amazed that you gals find ANYTHING @ GW. Here they are just sad places, overpriced. You did good, Sandy ... the nativity is really nice.
