I am hosting my First Swap!

I have decided I want to try my own swap and Elizabeth from Creative Breathing is going to help me! After talking with E, I think the easiest swap is a partner swap where you are paired with one other person to swap with.

So please sign up by emailing me at sanjos333@yahoo.com, I will need your email address to share with your partner. I will then get back to you and let you know who your partner is. If there is an uneven number of entires I will take care of the extra one myself!

I would like to make this swap to include a fun tag of your style having to do with Easter and/or Spring , and a little bag of goodies to go along with the tag! We don't have to go crazy here, but feel free to do as you wish! When you get your partner's name, please go to their blog and find out what their interests and loves are. That way we can make this a really fun event!

Please grab the photo above and post it on your blog along with a link to this post, the more the merrier....:) I will close the Easter Swap Entries on February 25th. That gives us 10 days to be sure everyone who wants to join can !

The goodies should be sent out no later than Monday April 18th, that way they can get to their locations by Easter which is April 24th.

A Valentine Swap!

OK…..I can’t take much more of this quiet! :) Thank all of you again for such caring and support. I feel better( for right now), so let’s get the next party started!

If you are a follower of Elizabeth at Bluebird Papercrafts. You know of her ability to think ahead! LOL And so she has started a Valentine Card Exchange. Now even though her exchange is closed, there are others out there doing them also…..and I have decided to go along for the ride! :) My exchanges can be any style or type you love…..I am a vintage children’s card kind of gal, so chances are that is what mine will be!

Splashes of Red for Rednesday!

Hi everyone, I wanted to share of the wonderful items I got in my wedding swap!

Linda’s swaps are amazing and so much fun!!!!! She will be doing another one in late August so please check with her then!

These cards were never used! They went for 10cents each, but on the back of the box it states “12 for 60cents”…half price, what a deal! LOL

Miz Mollye’s Bunny Swap!

I was fortunate to be able to participate in Miz Mollye’s Bunny swap over at http://mizmollye.blogspot.com/. It was so much fun! And I was super happy to learn that Mollye herself had me as her bunny swap person!

When I got the box I was so excited!

Look what was in it when I opened it, talk about a bunny box!!!!!!

Of course there were Pepps, and she opened them for me so they were getting hard! LOL

This was a find!

Good morning! I recently bought a book on Ebay for 9.99, but you can occasionally find this book at Amazon.com in the used section for less. Mine is perfect and 10.00 was a deal! It normally retails for 24.95 at bookstores. This is like the finding the jackpot at the end of the rainbow for us vintage children’s card lovers!

This book is chock full of all of the wonderful cards we look for every day! And the scans are really good! So we can copy these easily for our tags and gifts we make others! There are copyright laws for these images as far as re-selling the images….but not if we use them personally.

There is 223 of colorful , wonderful vintage cards! Sorry the scan is a little crooked. :) I just wanted you to see a page. A great way to get out images without having to buy the cards all the time, and pay a fortune for them!

So, be on the outlook girls, you know who you are! LOL
