Watty Piper Books and More….

As most of you know, I love vintage children’s books because of the illustrations….I recently saw this book on Ebay and was amazed by the graphics!!!!

This was described as an original 1846 publishing…I think that is incredible!  It is in such good condition and I only paid $15.00 for it!

I, too, grew up with The Bumper Book. My son has the one from my childhood, but he keeps it stored away for safekeeping. I wish he would share it with his kids. Perhaps I'll look for another one on ebay. Thanks for the memories!

Oh Sandy! These books are wonderful! Do you think Meri could scan the alphabet letters for us? How cute would they be in our paper art!
Oh how I would love to visit your home and see all the vintage treasures you have collected. You have such an eye for the most wonderful things!
Always, E

I have my own copy of Gateway to Storyland. It was given to me by my grandmparents in 1965! The cover has a section ripped off & I still love it. Thanks for sharing Watty Piper with everyone else. I'm off to read The Three Little Kittens ;-)
