Just keep at it!

I wanted to share this with those of you starting or trying to keep a personal business going….

This is about perseverance and patience…

This woman has been on Ebay for years, when they started the business it was her and her Dad and he passed away suddenly a few years ago and just devastated her world…slowly she came back…while others got on the band wagon…

here are some of her newest creations…

$_57 (1)

$_57 (2) b

Sweet little vintage card images on fiberboard cut perfect, just the right amount of glitter …they are to hang on a tree… approx. 4x4 inches …She finally is using images we can all relate to….she used to use Victorian type images…but the vintage children’s images from the 50’s and 60’s  are the biggest hits….:)

These two items sold for are you ready???  $102.00 and $75.00 respectively!  She has many many more with active bidding up in this price now…

Here is a brand new auction, they all start about 6.99…

$_57 (3) h

This one is about to end….

$_57 (2)

it is currently at $74.00….I am just amazed that people will spend that kind of money on one ornament that is paper, wood and glitter and brand new…

I am so happy for her!  But now, I can’t afford them! :)

Just so adorable, but way out of my price range. Lucky if you got a few before her prices went that high. But like you said, good for her, she is reaping the benefits of hard work.

Hope you are feeling little better each day. It takes sooo long to get over the flu, colds, and other bugs that are everywhere right now. Take care Sandy!

since we've always been in a lower income range, I too am amazed at how much people will/can spend!

Bobby and I have talked about doing ebay with my vintage kitchen wares when he retires. He would find the boxes and mail them since that's my least favorite part.

the colors on those ornaments are so bright and vibrant! We crafters don't have to spend that much if we make our own versions. They may not be exactly the same, but the inspiration will fuel our own creativity...and we will love our own even more.

Thanks for the new ideas! I don't look on eBay for crafts but I have adorable graphics, Mod Podge and glitter pens! FUN!

I've looked that this woman's ornaments for a few years now, and slowly watched the prices increase. I'm thrilled for her! That's proof that people still appreciate something handmade, in America!
Sandy, forgive me, but I could swear that you sent me one of these ornaments. Maybe in an Easter theme? I'm drawing a blank. But does that sound familiar to you? I skipped decorating for Easter last year, so I can't picture it. Or am I making this up???? LOL
Hugs- Erica :)

Those are some cute and colorful ornaments. Good for her, I love to see women succeed.
Glad you are feeling better, too!
