Prayers Please…….

condo-sunrise-scene

Do you ever feel like life is just beating the heck out of you? Of course you do, we all do….

I have been struggling with my faith and I am trying to understand why things happen the way they do….but in the end, none of us really know that answer. I guess that is why it is called “faith”. You cannot see it or touch it, but you just know it is there…. That God is there.

A very very dear man who has been my husband’s best friend and a great mentor to me and my children was just recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, that has already metastasized to his liver. If you haven’t been involved with anyone with this disease, it is one of the worst. So I ask for all of your prayers to hold Scott up as we start this journey. We are headed to Cancer Treatment Centers of America on Monday, to get him going with whatever their plan is for him….Scott has many people that love and care for him, and none of us are ready for him to leave this earth….not yet. He just turned 51.

So please, pray for Scott so that he can have the strength to go forward, one day at a time.

Praying for your friend, and for you. Sometimes, things just make no sense...at all. Hugs.

I struggled with my faith a lot when my Mom was ill and after she passed away. I have this quote from my favorite movie "Love Comes Softly" printed out that I look to often

the truth of God's love
is not that He allows
bad things to happen.
it's His promise he
will be there with us
when they do

Have faith God is with Scott every step of the way.

Praying for Scott

Sandy,
My husband, Jud, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer Stage four, liver mets, last November. He has been through three different treatments and we are taking one day at a time. If Scott would like to read his Caring Bridge, it would be fine with Jud. Just go to caringbridge.org. His code name is judreaney. We also have been helped by a friend who got on foodtidings.com and organized some meals to be brought to us. It is a hard disease but I feel we have been very blessed by the love and caring of our family and friends.
Hugs,
Suz

I'm so sorry. Will definitely add him (and you and your husband) to my daily prayer list.

Life isn't supposed to be filled so often with sadness and pain, is it?

I think I missed reading that fine print, too!

Hugs and Hope.

I'm praying for Scott and all his loved ones.

Life doesn't always make sense but we have to remember that Gos sends us things that we have to live through.

We all must say the serenity prayer, it's a geat confort to anyone, not only addicted souls.
