My One Little Word….DO

Back in January I did a post about “One Little Word”, mine was “DO”…so again I have decided to get serious learning to drive horses.

My dear friend Dana Moore is a very accomplished horsewoman. Her passion the last few years had been learning to drive and compete Haflinger Ponies in competitions.

pretty ponies

This is Dana, on the left Carbon and on the right Ditto. Aren’t they the prettiest ponies?????

Dana is giving me lessons with Ditto…..this is our objective:

I started this week and I am loving it, after the sun goes down it is almost pleasant ( I said almost )…it is so foreign to be behind the horse when you have ridden all your life. But I am getting there and Ditto is a very patient boy!

I find when my world starts getting too small, going out to the horses is like a shot in the arm of B12…I become renewed…..

So wish me luck….I will probably not be posting for a few days now… enjoy the rest of the photos!

This is Dana driving a pair…Ditto and his Mom Dixie…they are so right on you can hardly tell there are two of them!

Dana and Ditto doing an obstacle course…he loves going thru water!

This is Dana and a friend named Marcia’s ponies after a day of showing…..

Hi Sandy! Those horses oops ponies are beautiful. Oh' how I would love to have one. Good for you getting out there and doing something you really love to do!!! It makes all the stress fade away, doesn't it.

Thank you for the Eauclaire postcard. I just love the vintage cars and kids. This was so much fun, well after the panic ended. haha. I'm holding on to these tight, waiting to get that craft spot so I can make the perfect banner with them.

Hugs...Tracy :)

P.S. This month I'm having blogiversary giveaways. Please stop by and enter. The first one is listed now.

Sandy, what a fun thing to do! It looks like it could transport you back in time, to the "olden days"! I had a horse when I was younger, and I really miss being around them. Can't wait to see pictures of you driving that buggy!
Have a great weekend!

Those are great pics, and what a unique way to recharge! Although, I have to say that given as hot as it is here in GA in the summer, those long-sleeved jackets look like torture. I hope it's cooler where you are!

I would love to do this! I gave up the idea of riding horses as a young teen when a horse stepped on my foot. Boy, that hurt!

Looks like lots of fun - enjoy your lessons!

In answer to your questions, the cartridge used was Tags, Bags, Boxes and More (for all except the handbag one). The camera seems to be easy enough to learn (I think it is called the Canon Rebel in the USA). My 13 year old daughter did the banner - not sure how she did it! I leave the technical stuff to her:)

Have a great weekend, Lisa

Wow, how I admire you, if you've read any of my post you know I am terrified of horse, silly me I know but it's a life long fear. Sad to be a farm girl afraid of a beautiful creature as these. Sigh...I'm so ashamed...lol..my Granddaughter is 9 and she is begging her Dad for one. I hope he gets it for her.
These pictures are so beautiful and looks so relaxing.
Good luck I know you can do it.
