ME Monday with Vicki at Cherry Chick

IloveME

I am sharing my ME border that I decorated my plain jane white shelves with in my craft room…..

Room 13

Room 2

This is a paper border you get in a package for teachers to put around bulletin boards. I just love these!!!!! I have used them in my kitchen on shelves I had there also. They look great in a pantry too!

The nicest thing is you can just tape them up, then when you want to change the look you only have to do minimum work to have a whole new look! These come out at Michaels when the school year starts, but you can find them at any teacher’s type stores year round!

Here’s a closer look!

Room 4

Room6

For just a few dollars it really brightens up the place! :)

Please hop over to Vicki’s blog and see all of the cute ME items for ME Monday! http://www.cherrychickjewelry.blogspot.com/

Sandy,
Oh so cute! Thank you for sharing with us. I have the borders in cherries but I haven't found the "right" place, yet. ;-) I love your little ME mailbox, too. Sue has one in a different design posted today, too. I have one of those "cherry pie" boxes, too. I love seeing everyone's ME things. Your room is just darling.

I agree Sandy - those shelves went from utilitarian to fantastic! Such a cute idea. Wait - hey I might do that in my classroom on my bookshelves! Thanks for the inspiration!

I'm so glad that those borders will be back at Michaels again, because I stupidly passed them up the last time I saw them! They're so bright and cheery and happy!

Aw, I remember the first time you showed these in your Studio...I had to gasp for air, they're SO CUTE!!! Thanks for telling us where to find them.
I enjoyed the walk down memory lane with the old "penny candies". Such fun.
And thank you for your kind words when my mom passed. You're a sweetie. : )

Very cute! Too bad I never found this border when I was still teaching. Your craft room is so inviting and just delightful to look at.
