Great reds Sandy! I just love Wisconsin in the summer time. So much glorious green and beautiful flowers. We spent a summer vacation at Green Lake. Have you been there? My husband's family is from Wisconsin but he was born in Chicago and grew up in California. We still have some family living in that beautiful state. You're right, Deb should start a blog. Love her style!

Didn't join the Reds party this week, but I'm glad I came over. The shelf with the reds, yellows and blues-I love it. Your cousin should start a b;log. I've had Primrose design as a favorite for years. SHe's a very talented lady. Happy Day to you!

You have a cheerful and feel good blog! I love the red chairs, my grandmother had chairs like these and they were so comfortable. I cannot for the life of me think of what color they were, but they may have been just plain white.

Hi Sandy! I'm so glad you stopped by. I love all your reds, but those retro metal lawn chairs..in red!!...are the best. I was up in N. Ohio Amish area and they had them up there for $140 each..and, gliders that looked the same were over $300....I wanted them so bad, but couldn't afford em. Oh well. I thought I recognized that Pillow. anet over at Primrose was an inspiration when I was beginning my website and blog. She's wonderful.
I hope you stop by more often now that you know where I am!

Hi Sandy,
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I hope you get to make the Long Beach Flea Market! I don't think you'll have any problem with the heat since you're used to AZ.
Loving the multi-colored Adirondack display! And I love those red metal chairs! Your cousin has such a charming home (just crying out to be on a blog)!

Happy Rednesday,
Sally

Love the chairs, especially the red ones (of course). What a great place to sit and spend time with company. Thanks for visiting me today!

Hello! I got the chairs online, but I can't remember the name of the company. Just google retro metal chairs and I am sure you will find some. sorry I could not be more help.
P.S. gorilla glue is stronger than super glue.

The pillow is so sweet I'm going to check her out. I love the photos and the chairs too very nice.

Beautiful! So cheery. And if you get those chairs don't leave them in the sun and then sit on them. Wow. That could be a humiliating visit to the ER!

Not totally the same but you could paint the leg supports white: http://www.amazon.com/Red-Retro-Metal-Lawn-Chair/dp/B001THEZUE

Hi Sandy! I discovered the pillow makers blog on the studio tour. She does make the most wonderful pillows! I love the one you have chosen. Your relative's shell chairs are super! The photographs you always see on my blog are all taken on my own white shell chairs found at Wal Mart many years ago. I baby them to keep them nice and white! Yes she does need to blog! Lovely home! Have a great weekend! Elizabeth

Glad you love the pillow Sandy! The fabrics are all vintage feedsacks except for the red and white polka dot that I used for the piping.

And thank you all for the nice comments about my work and website and blog! Pillows are my first love but I also have tons of smaller sewn items and lots of vintage things, too. Stop on by!

Delightful pics of your cousin's home. Love those chairs too, but can't afford them. They sell them on the 'Through the Country Door' Site...under 'Seasonal'. However, this year, no red. Just two shades of green and white.
Stay cool! : )

Do you have a Stockdale's anywhere near where you live? They carry the chairs in every color, including red and a lovely red, white, and blue with stars.
