I was looking thru my photos and realized I had not shown you the wonderful shop I always try to go to when I go home. It is called Cranberry Cottage, and why I didn’t get a photo of the sign….don’t ask me! :)
I have to say I was a bit disappointed this time, as a lot of the vintage stock was gone…..
but the way they merchandise was still so cute:
I loved these canisters!
And this cake keeper, but I have no room in my AZ house…perhaps I need to start collecting for that summer home…:)
They also had a display of all of the newer Vera Bradley purses. I really like them but have never seen a color combo I was crazy about enough to fork out the $$$$$, then I saw this!
It is a little bit retro, but reminded me of my vintage tablecloths. Now I just have to get brave enough to use it! I don’t want it to get dirty! LOL
This was my biggest purchase while I was gone, and I have it hanging on the door to my craft room so I can enjoy it every day! :)
One other reason I love Wisconsin……
FARMS !!!!!! And wide open spaces….
Thanks for stopping by….I have a few more places to share, I will be back Friday! :)

Hi Sandy,
What a WONDERFUL place! My kingdom for that little red cabinet and/or the dreamy seafoam green hoosier! GORGEOUS! Can't wait to travel with you again!
Wow, I think I could spend a couple of hours browsing that shop!
What a great place to shop. Love the new Vera Bradley :)
Adorei seu blog. Realmente aproxima as pessoas do mundo inteiro e com idéias parecidas. Assim vamos descobrindo novos artesanatos, pinturas, entre tantas coisas. Parabéns.
Beijos
I love that cake carrier! But the green hoosier cabinet is what I would want to carry home with me.
That looks like a very fun place to shop. I would want the green hoosier. The purse you chose looks just like your blog...full of great color!
Annette
Sandy, that mint green Hoosier Cupboard is to die for! OK, I'll stop drooling now and tell you how much I like your new VB purse. That is one of the newest patterns and I really like it too. Go on, carry it with gusto but you might want to spray it with scotch guard first, they are not the easiest things to clean.
What a fun shop! So many cute things- including YOU! ♥
Yes, be bold and use the bag! It is fun isn't it? As far as vintage shops I do enjoy them. However, if there is a lot of clutter my eyes bother me and I get a sick feeling and it feels like too much....wierd...I wonder if it is something psychological!
Love your new bag. Use it. The best way to rationalize a new purchase is to really use it and enjoy it. I've washed Vera Bradley bags and they turn out fine.
My girls even use them as book bags. But, for three or four consecutive years. Then I pass them on to the younger sister. Occasionally, I've had to repair the edges (I reinforce them with a little coordinating embroidery floss).
Next time I'm in Eau Claire, I'm so swinging by that shop!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Molly
I've never visited Wisconsin. I would love to see the farms. The purse is oh, so cute!

Hello sweet SIL....I love Cranberry Cottage~!!!!!! What a sweet shop. Is it in EauClaire??
Love you,
Jo
Sandy, Didn't you just love the green Hoosier! I would have chosen exactly the same purse - it's so you! I know you will enjoy it for years to come. Such a fun post, the farms are so beautiful - with hills! It is as flat as can be in central Ohio! Enjoy your weekend ahead! Elizabeth
Sandy,
Looks like a really nice trip. The displays in that shop were so cute. Love the farms too. Have a nice weekend!
