Please check out this wonderful Blog!

I have a very nice woman who has contacted me before asking my opinion of a few things…I was so tickled as I consider her a real authority on vintage kitsch…Her name is Dianne Zweig and she has written two books, with more coming soon on vintage goodies. They are just filled with wonderful photos and information!

Her blog is just a feast for the eyes if you are into vintage kitsch…Here are a few of the cute photos she has on her blog in numerous posts….

I wouldn’t care how much these were…they would be going home with me!

See the packing peanuts in the bowls??? I have a set I want to put up above my kitchen cupboards….now I know how to do that safely!

Also…how many of those mustard tins have I had in the past??? You don’t want to know. :)

And with summer coming, who can forget these beauties??? Lots of imitators but hard to find the real McCoys….

Sandy, Thank you so much for introducing me to this wonderful artist! You have the same mindset as she does in repurposing vintage items. I have learned so much from you, and can't wait to visit her. I always look forward to your new projects! Elizabeth

Sandy I am going over there asap! I love old pyrex! I use all my square ones with the lids for the fridge all the time they just don't make them like that any more. I might be a little green with bowl envy right now!
Have a lovely weekend!

Hi cute Sandy,
Thanks for the new link. All the photos you shared in this Post were SO dreamy!!!
About the CD packs...my vote would be to sell them all mixed up so as to get a good variety, but either way would be a treasure.
I could feel your heart aching as I read how homesick you are for Wisconsin. After looking at the pics you took, no wonder. It looks like "Small Town America" there. I would love to go there for the 4th of July. : ) And that little Garden Shop on the corner was to die for.
Try to stay cool this Summer and remember..."it's a DRY heat"...AND...it only lasts for THREE months out of the year. : )
xoxo,
Mary Lou
