A short break

Hi Everybody,

Well, yesterday we painted my craft room the most beautiful shade of Robins Egg Blue, but I had to take my computer down and out of the space, ( that felt strange) so I am not able to download my photos and whatnot, my floor is going in on Tuesday and Wednesday and hopefully I will have the room put back together on Saturday. So....just to let you know, I am out here checking in with all of my favorite blogs, but I won't be posting anything for a while....I can't wait to show you the finished product!

How exciting! I'm sure it will be wonderful when it's done.

I know we all need the rain out here but I'm already looking forward to spring and more sunshine!

Congratulaions on reaching the 100 followers milestone. I think we all feel as you do!
Hugs,
Dawn

Ah, one of my very favorite colors, robin's egg blue. To think before I discovered the crafting blog world I thought I was the only one who loved that vintage color! Can't wait to see the pics.
p.s. I just love that little bluebird valentine on the side...is there a larger pic? I love vintage bluebirds & have a few ceramic ones & a lot of embroidered ones that I embroider myself from my vintage pattern collection.

Hello Sandy,
I found your blog while visiting Elizabeth from Creative Breathing. I just wanted to say hello and let you know how much I enjoyed your blog. It is so cheery and filled with so many of the things I adore. I will definitely be visiting again.
Fondly,
Mimi~

Hey Buddy,

I guess this means that I'm coming over on Saturday to organize you! Just make sure you have lot's of fattening crap to eat, lot's of sugar, and the final death........diet coke with splenda. You can balance that out with some Dasani water, as you know I'm a water snob. I'm actually looking forward to getting you and your room into shape as you'll finally start crafting. I'm sure we'll be working on stuff before that, so see you soon.

Love,
Meri

I just stumbled across your blog and wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your appreciation for the '40's. I also have the bug for it, though it mostly confines itself to my kitchen.

OH SANDY! I just saw an item you must add to you decal line! Link on ImagiMeri on my sidebar and then click on the pink cake carrier button for a larger view. I am definitely going to keep my eye out for a cake carrier I can spray paint and add your extra decal to. It's such a great idea because they are always too rusty to use when you find them at the thrift stores. Happy, happy! E

Hi Sandy,

Thanks for stopping by my blog, and even more for the comment. Yours is downright adorable. So sunny! I can't wait to see what your new room looks like. I am working on my "happy place" a little corner in my room. Since my four bedroom got filled up with two of my own babies and my brother, his wife and their baby. Whew, I am close to bliss in my little corner though! :)
