I am starting to get just a little worried... this week went by in a minute, I swear! I have to get busy! But I wanted to share a few of my vintage Christmas goodies, at least the ones that I have unpacked ( but that is another, post another day )
I got this little guy in the mail today. I just love him! I have been trying for one of these Santa's for quite some time, but they were always too expensive! He was $5.00! :)
This is the cover of a book I also got last week....it is a fun little book from the 1950's....the colors inside are so fun! Pranky is the cutest elf yet!

How special to get out the ornaments that were your parents and know that they are there with you in spirit!!
I loved Pranky too...what a mischievous looking little elf.

Adorable Santas! Lovely that you have your parents' ornaments!
What fun things. I particularly love your parents ornamets and the adorable little book. I find myself drawn to old childrens books too.

I like all your old Christmas thingies.
I got sidetracked when I saw your Vintage Christmas Monday post and started looking at some of the other posts from last Monday. I think I will join that the rest of the month with some of my old Christmas postcards.
LOL...I'm still laughing at your first line in your blog as I SO know what you mean. I love all your pics. I remember those wonderful ornaments of your parents', we had them too. Your blog is beautiful!
Hi Sandy,
Love your ornaments. It's nice that you have your mom and dads. I bought that same santa on the sled, and paid $10 for it at an antique shop. I planned to sell it on e-bay. It sold for $6. :( they are expensive in the stores.
Hugs,
Debbie
I feel like it's zipping by really quickly too, and I'm not done decorating yet! I love all of your vintage Christmas goodies, especially that first Santa. I've been looking for one of those for a while too. Guess it's a good thing I've made myself stay off Ebay, or I might have given you a run for your money!
Happy VTT Sandy!

The colors of the vintage glass ornaments are so pretty. The reproductions just don't look the same. There is no patina on them.
It is nice that they remind you of your parents and childhood.
Hey Sweet SIL - I knew you would find great goodies once you unpacked your Christmas boxes. What sweet finds!
Happy VTT,
Jo

I have to admit, I have a crush on all Santas. So my favorites here are the santa salt and pepper shakers and the 3 santas candleholder. Lovely vintage items, all!

I love the salt & pepper shakers. They are so cute. It's so much fun going around to everyone's blogs and seeing their Christmases on display. :)
