I was looking at photos on Google and Pinterest of Sears Wishbooks….
How fun this would be….again!
I got this Corning ware Set here backed in the red background.
and who of you out there in Blogland remember this thin plastic “food”?
I got a new set about three times in my childhood, I actually have a box of it ( in the original box) that I got on Ebay awhile back…when I can find it, I will show you…lol
Ladies, look at the prices of these Marx Dollhouses!
When Fisher Price toys were metal and wood!
And of course the decorations and goodies….
Look at the original prices on these HTF antiques!
and last but not least the kitchen goodies….
It is so fun to see these ads and remember the toys, or be lucky enough to have any of these items now…:)
I am just getting the baking started…not too much this year….but the decorations that were going up are up, the rest will wait until next year, Bailey gets into too many things now! :)
Oh, I wanted to show you what she originally used this pad for….it is meant for going potty…..but…..
Great perch to watch the birds……lol

These ads are the best!!! And your new pooch sure looks happy!
Those ads are pure Christmas magic. I have a Marx dollhouse under the Christmas tree in my sunroom this year. I spy lots of fun furniture that I would have asked for in those catalog pages. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas with your pup!
Oh that was fun, Sandy! Thanks! I looked at close ups of the Christmas ornaments!
I have the nursery lamb and school house. I saw the Mary that goes with it at an antique shop recently but someone had painted and glittered over it. Ew!
I'm still on the look out for a tin dollhouse. There's one at a local shop for over $100.00. No thanks!
I plan on doing just a little bit of baking for my boy who gets out of jail for a couple hours on Christmas. ♥
If only I had a time machine...
Happy Holidays, Sandy!

I had the plastic food! It made it thru my two girls too...now I have no idea if it's in the basement archives... fun to see how much it cost in the first place!!
Loved this post!! Old catalogues give us such a great glimpse into the past!
