Cute as a Bug!

I really haven’t been able to get out much the last 6 weeks, but I saw this online and had to have one……

Is this not the cutest metal “picnic” basket???  The handles are wood.  And look what is on the sides….

IMG_3671

Yup….cherries!!!!  I am in love….I am going to use it for my cookie sugars and decorations…

IMG_3672

You just have to love World Market!

19.99…..a steal for sure!

I also got 6 of these small jars…..

I had a coupon….aren’t these cute???  Not sure of they will end up in the kitchen or craft room. :)

It was so nice a box in the mail!

Update on Miss Maya:

I dropped her off Friday morning and they made an incision to pull out the loose suture, to find that she had torn both of 100 pound suture material free.  I think it looks more like it was rubbed up against a piece of sharp bone….but what can you do? You are looking at one very expensive piece of suture!  She is right back where she was 6 weeks ago as far as repairing it.

So, the vet stated that the knee is somewhat stable from the scar tissue that has formed.  This whole endeavor has been a nightmare…this poor sweet pup has had 6 weeks of pain and surgery and pain and surgery and we are done.

IMG_3659

We go back in a week to have the sutures outside removed, then we just see what happens….I know the other hind leg is starting to weaken…

IMG_3660

Please keep my sweet Maya and me in your prayers….we are getting to the end of this mess…and I don’t know what the future holds for her besides… no more pain!

Poor maya... makes me sad thinking of her in pain. I always feel like they dont understand why they hurt and it breaks my heart. I hope she heals up good this time around and that she will be pain free. Im sending up a prayer right now for both of you.

Poor doggy. Hopefully she will be able to use the bad leg before the other ones gets bad. We post poned our Yorkie's surgery. Her legs are weak but seem to be getting better. What we do for our pets. I hope things get better for yours.

oh, your poor sweet Maya! It's so hard to watch our precious animals suffer...it's the worst. I pray that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for her recovery. I love the tin box...I had to buy one when I visited World Market in Vegas! Cute, cute, cute! I wish we had one here in Utah...but it does make it special when I can only go once in a while! Isn't it fun!

I love your new picnic basket.
"Picnic" is my all time favorite word. I can not say it without putting a smile on my face. I guess it comes from my childhood, we were picnic people, and my Mom packed the best! I can almost taste her fried chicken and potato salad, yum :)
Great find!
Have a lovely week.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

Thanks for the excuse to go visit World Market now!! I have a birthday coming up next week and I think I just might need to buy myself a picnic basket.

I'm so sorry about Maya's condition. Gentle hugs for you both.

Oh poor sweet Maya. I hate to see a pup going through something like this. Hope she feels better real soon!

This is the second time I've seen than gorgeous picnic basket on a blog. Why oh why did our World Market have to close? :-(

Poor Maya, I hope things work out better for her this time. You always find the cutest things! That bread box is great and I love your idea about the cookie supply storage. I LOVE the jars...so cute! I'm glad we don't have a World Market here...I have a hard enough time with Target and HomeGoods! (I have ordered something from WM and wrote about it yesterday)
Take care!
