Fiesta Dinnerware for Fall !

A few months ago a friend of mine and me were at a Dillard's Dept. Store and saw this wonderful mixing bowl set in a color we had never seen before…..I have recently found it everywhere! The color, Marigold, was brought out to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Fiesta!!!!! Fiesta® Dinnerware was designed by Frederick Hurton Rhead in 1936 and is now among the most collected china products in the world. As originally designed, the line featured art deco styling and bold, bright colors. The product was discontinued in 1973 and reissued in 1986 with new contemporary colors to mark its 50th anniversary.

This color along with a few others they have had for awhile will make an incredible fall table!!!!!

First: Marigold

Here is the piece they made to will celebrate the anniversary:

Would these two colors go beautifully with the Marigold?

It is starting to feel like fall fever is hitting…..I can hardly wait! Everything here at my home looks so burned and scorched…no matter how much we water….we did get a great storm last night, lost quite a few tree branches though…..New roof and gutters work great! :):)

Are you ready for Autumn yet??????

The dishes are beautiful Sandy but I'm not ready for fall yet (even though it's my favorite season) Our winter and spring were so crummy that I'm not even complaining about the blasting heat this summer. I need to have enough warm summer days to help me remember when it's cold, dark and wet! Hope you are doing OK..haven't heard from you in a while.

I'm always ready for Fall...it is my favorite time of the year! I have collected Fiesta Ware for years...I have the lighter yellow that I use with a light blue every day. I like the marigold and have a few pieces. I think I'm really liking the bright green and orange right now too! There a few sites online where they discount the prices...and I always find some pieces at flea markets and thrift shops.

Those are pretty.
I had a bit of a desire for Fall today. But I quickly tried to push it out of my mind. I am not ready to give up on Summer, even with the horrid heat. A cool Fall breeze sounds so refreshing. Thinking of it gets me fired up!!!It is Winter that I dread. So i am not going to wish Summer away just yet!

We had a nice cool down today. It is only 93.

I have a pitcher in the original marigold. One of my all time favorite items! I love the color combinations you made.

Sandi, this color is gorgeous, & I don't even like yellows. All colors would blend beautifully with it.

Had hoped to hear from you. Sure missed not seeing you while in AZ, kiddo.

Have a wonderful week ~

These all colors are very beautiful and best for party. But among all I did not like yellows color. Your arrangement is superb and looks very beautiful. Sandi, you are very talented.

Love Fiesta!! I was wanting new dishes and wanted something bright, colorful. My sweet husband did not agree. So, for my 60th my friends got together and bought me several colors of Fiesta!! Done deal! I smile when I open my cabinet.
We still have not had summer so I am no where near ready for Fall. Annette

Oh i love this color and I use these dishes for everything as I don't have a set of 'china' or good dishes just Fiesta ware suits me. I have the plum but not the cinnamon or new marigold color. I used to get them in CA but here in AK the companies don't want to ship them. Amazon is a good place to buy a place setting but only for shipping up there.

I've always been a Fiesta fan! I've never been able to chose a favorite color though and settled on white. I'm chicken! The marigold is beautiful:)
