Being number one is probably not a good thing but I do love Kath Kidson. I drool over her catalog. I really think what I love the best is her use of color. Her colors are just the colors I love. I wish her stores were here in the US.

This is too funny because my mom and I have been admiring the Cath Kidston website for a while now. We also have been visiting blogs that have lots of Cath Kidston since they either live in the UK or have purchased it before the US store closed. We also have been searching amazon and ebay for her stuff, with not much luck!! We just found out about Cath about a month ago (unfortunately). Wish we would have known sooner, but we still are happy we came across it!! We check her site for fun. If we ever get a chance to go to England that WILL be the first place we go!! The prints are beautiful, the colors are bright and cheery. Her stuff is exactly our taste!!

P.S. Also Thank you for stopping by our blog , and becoming a follower. We really enjoy your blog too!!

OH, her stuff is just adorable....everything from color, to design, it screams vintage to me, I so so so wish we had a store here! (or maybe it is a good thing we don't) I looked at the catalog the other day, prices were not in US dollars, and I said I was going to pull the site up on line....this post just reminded me to do that very thing....lovely giveaway!! Crossing fingers I win! Have a great day!

Hi Sandy,

I am still laughing about what you posted on my blog. Yes, they are rabbits! I am surprised no one else said something. I have made the necessary edits. Thanks.
Anyway, I love, love, love Cath Kidston and the reason is the colors and images. I just smile when I see her things. I would love to roam around in one of her stores. If I win I will use the beautiful stationary to send you a special thank you note. This is a great give away.
Hugs,
Carey

This is too funny - I pulled out Cath Kidston's "In Print" from the bookcase just this morning...
I love Cath Kidston because she and I share an admiration for vintage fabrics and so I'm always interested to see what kind of projects she's come up with. I also appreciate that she's found a way to be successful via her love of vintage.

Thanks so much for this giveaway and I'll keep all fingers and toes crossed for extra luck. Thanks Sandy! -amy

I LOVE Cath Kidston because everything is co colorful and lovely and beautiful and nostalgic and sweet and pretty and somehow comforting and comfortable and wonderful, not to mention desirable! I first fell in love with her books after I read a feature on her in one of my magazines, and I just got my first catalog last week.
I think I may have accidentally drooled on it - I know, I know, too much information......

You and I girl friend like the same things. I adore Kath Kidson but where in the heck can you buy her stuff in the US? I see it pop up occasionally for instance a local shop at some of her stationery, but all her neat fabric I would love to have. Why I love her designs, the vintage look to it and the colors she uses, they are to die for !!

Did you have trouble getting Window's Live Writer to connect with your blog? I'm having a hard time and haven't resolved how to yet. This is where I am stuck.
"An error occured while attempting to connect to your blog. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. YOU must correct this error before proceding." Sigh.. anyway, just wanted to say Hi. I enjoy your blog.

Oh, that store is just adorable! Think I can convince the husband that I need to take a trip to England? My 30th Birthday *is* coming up and he *did* tell me that he wanted to take me somewhere! England probably isn't what he had in mind but it won't hurt to ask, right? lol

Anyhow, I just love Cath's stuff - it's so cheery & colorful and it's exactly what I imagine my kitchen would've looked like had I been around back in say 1950. I just love the mix of patterns and colors - everything is mismatched and just wonderful!!

Hi Sandy!

I too love Cath Kidston because her designs just make me smile. They colors, graphics, and patterns are so cheery! How can you not love her?

My daughter, who is nine years old, lives across the country (Canada) from her grandparents. She loves to write letters to them as a way of keeping them up-to-date on her "goings on." She could email, but we prefer the "old-fashioned way" and her grandparents save all her letters. It would be lovely for Cath Kidston papers to be tucked away with their memories of their grand-daughter and Amy would love to use the beautiful papers to write on.

I love Cath Kidston because of the way her items make me feel. Giddy, happy, and nostalgic. Many of her items have that 1920-1950's feel. Amen to that.

Hi Sweetie....
I adore Cath Kidson because of her use of color. She uses the florals, the stripes and the big polka dots. I can honestly say I do not have anything of hers, but I sure do adore it. I love the use of the wood crates for storage on the wall in her shop. How creative is that?

I would so love this giveaway. Please enter my name into the drawing. Any one of us would be so lucky to win.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Oh my, I have been a fan of Cath Kidston forever. I was lucky enough to visit both her New York City store and her Los Angeles store, sadly they are no more. I have a stash of her fabrics but it's so hard for me to cut into them because I covet them so!
I hope Windows Live Writer is working out for you. I use it for all my blog posts. I like how you can do a final "sharpen" on the pictures as well as put a watermark on them too.

Hi, I'm a recent blog follower. Your blog is just so cheery and colorful and happy. I've yet to buy any Cath Kidston goodies yet, but I've loved it all for a bit now. So hard to choose. Her stuff is just as cheery and colorful. I use some photos of her stuff on my desktop at work and frequently throughout the day, I will minimize all the windows just to look at the colors and smile.

Why do I love Cath? I think it's because she has done so much to bring back an appreciation of fun, vintage English style. It was seen as dowdy for a while, but not anymore! I got to visit one of her shops in London recently, and I also ordered a few sale items from her site after the holidays!

By the way, I love your blog design!

I have been obsessed with Cath Kidston for almost fifteen years. I have always loved the vintage forties look, and when I was living in Michigan I found her first book, Vintage Style.

I have quite a few of her things. Recently, for Christmas I splurged on all new everyday dishes, Spray Flowers. Then, I needed new flatware, Multicolored handles, and new glasses. I already have lots of her textiles from when she had the US site. Occasionally, you can find items at HomeGoods and Marshalls.

All four of my girls rooms are all done in Cath. They adore it, too! It is so crisp, cheerful, and the colors are just right. I have yet to find a designer in the US with the same sense of color and scale.

Your blog is darling!

Goodness! I am in love with Cath Kidston and have been for many years! I think I still have the magazine article where I first heard of her...at the time I think she was just starting out and there were no shops in the U.S. But, she had some linens at Ikea (which I have). I never got to one of her shops when they had one here - and, before you knew it it was closed down! Big bummer. Now I just get my fix by looking at her book I bought and visiting Posy blog 'cuz she's in England & a huge CK luvah.
Did I answer the question? lol. Yes, I love her fresh, clean take on the 40s florals...it's just happy, cheerful and fun.

I love, love Cath Kidston only because it makes me smile when I see her products and her patterns... isn't that enough of a reason... I wish, I wish that I were lucky enough to win and if not .. I can still dream... thanks so much...
