  1. Good for you Sandy! No fun though. My Mom had that and learned to eat around it. Here's the website- http://www.ismacs.net/newhome/models.html to the New Home website-it's under a new name now, but that's how I dated my machine.Kind of like Geneolgy of sewing-LOL. Hope you feel better soon!

I really don't like going to the doctors so I'm waiting it out..

  12. Oh Dear! Sorry to hear you are under the weather. I can no longer have popcorn either because of my migraines. I still miss it but it is worth giving it up because I feel so much better. Good luck with your new lifestyle change!

    Blessings

  13. Oh my, I certainly know your pain. 2 years ago I ended up having surgery so I will hope that you will avoid that one. I found that popcorn, peanuts and fruit seeds (blackberries, strawberries, raspberries) were the worst culprits. Follow the prescribed diet, take the antibiotic and hopefully all will be well. I will keep you in my prayers...oh wait, you're already there!
I have been sick (again) :( this week with fever and headaches but today I feel pretty good. I'd like to erase the past 6 weeks for us. The good news. Is that David is doing great with his therapy and might graduate to a cane soon.
Please take care of yourself my friend.

  15. I hope that you feel better soon. Not a fun way to lose 9 pounds. I do think I found your 9 pounds, so if you would like to have them back, I will send them right over.

So sorry to hear that. My mother in law had diverticulosis. I know the one you have is more painful. Hope you are feeling better!

  18. Ohhhh - big HUGS and hope you feel better soon. It's no fun to have digestion problems. I have a few myself. Sometimes ginger tea helps - probably just because I like it and it calms me down.

  20. Oh honey, I had a colon resection back in December for diverticular disease. I felt so much better after the surgery because I was in constant pain and kept having infections. My doctor told me that I could have nuts and popcorn because that wouldn't cause flares, but I was always afraid every time I ate. Hope you feel much better really soon!

  24. Oh, Sandy, I'm so sorry you have been feeling poorly. Diverticulitis is no walk in the park. My sweet neighbor has it and I am always so careful to not add nuts in things I make for him.
It's good that you are looking for the silver lining...nine pounds lost is a good thing.
I do hope you start feeling better with the antibiotics helping out.
    Blessings and prayers,
    Carolynn xo
