From One Day to the Next

clip_image002

I have a request….without going into major detail, I need to ask for those of you who come to visit this blog to help hold up my family in prayer and positive thoughts please. I cannot go into the crisis any father than that at this time. I will leave you with a quote I found that seems to fit the bill for me right now….

“God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it is me.”

  20. Yep - you got the prayers Honey. I've had to ask for plenty myself - but it gets easier as time goes by to work on "me" and leave the rest to God. Hugs to you - Patti

  22. And I just have to mention - I LOVE the blog background, header, etc. Did you do it? I am SOOO envious of it. I wish I could paint some furniture for you. I enjoy doing it! That is as long as it isn't 100 degrees outside.

  25. Oh, Sandy, I'm so sorry I had not seen this but glad I caught it now. I am praying the minute I finish writing this post. God is in your midst. Christ is greater than any circumstance you may be facing. He is with you.

  26. Dear Sandy,
this is my first visit to your blog -- I saw "Lake Street," and had to come, because my Mom grew up on Lake Street in Brooklyn, NY. And so here I am -- and I can't help but think that it's so that I can add my own prayers to those of the other bloggers.

Bless you and your family. You have my prayers.
