I am so glad they bought a house....no more renting or moving!!!!!! I will now take a couple of days to recover....see you then!
I am joining up with Sue over at It’s A Very Cherry World for Rednesday.
I know I thought it would never happen, but I am starting to run out of red things! I need to hit the closets! :)
A fun set of bird houses on got after Christmas
This is a lamp on got at Goodwill for $5.00. The colors are not quite right, the brown definitely has to go! The red and yellow aren’t terrible, but I haven’t really decided how I am going to paint it yet. It works great and is going in my craft room.
Got this little guy this last summer at a Gourd Festival. :)
My button jar!
A sweet little vintage shelf that is going in the craft show when I get it finished.
Well, that’s all for now….have a great Wednesday! I am over at my sons new home as you are reading this, I am just so proud of them!
I have been watching some of my favorite people redo their crafting spaces. I have to admit, the way I had everything looked really cute but didn’t work really well…so I went and got some sweet little boxes at Wal-Mart and reorganized the item I seem to use all of the time
This seems to work a whole lot better.
Then I took the items I had in the cute cherry boxes on the shelves behind the desk and put them in plastic containers that I can see thru and grab as needed. Not as cute, but much easier to work with! Those shelves are not easy to get to!
I still need to move all of this around a bit, I can’t get into the bottom 12 inch drawers….but they are Christmas anyhow…
I also redid my hutch where my computer is….being into genealogy, papers pile up in a New York Minute!!!! So, I had to get some organization here also.
Love my little red dish drainer, got that idea from Brenda at A Cozy Cottage! I have file folders on their way to me that have colorful rick-rack on them! The little white boxes hold all of my CD’s…images, photos, etc….I will be making them all cute at a later date…I hope! Of course, there is always stickers. :)
And yes, that is a sweet little paint foal on my screensaver, and my Vista Bubbles….love them!
Take a good look, it is empty!!!!! Joyce, those are your Necco wafers I am eating right now! I got the fun, colorful pencil holder at Target, in the same place as the dishes….I love all of the colors, and if I need to I have a silverware caddy for a picnic! That is what it was intended to be!
I also thought I would show you a few photos of part of my Peep collection. I have no idea where to put this stuff, and I have a big bin of even more….but I am not parting with it! :)
Have a great week everyone! It is suppose to be 85 degrees today! :)
Hello everyone!
I recently was blog hopping and saw a photo of some real cute plates that Target had just put out. I’m sorry but I didn’t remember to write down the name of the blog. :)
So I went to Target and sure enough, they had these fun polka and flowered type plates for summer! And at 99 cents ( small ones) and 1.79 ( dessert plates) for each I got eight of both kinds. They have all kinds of plates and glasses and serving items that match.
I was so disappointed in Wal-Marts summer color palett this year, it is all fall type colors.
I have the Fiesta dishes that will go with these sweet plates perfect!
I think it is OK that I am mixing ceramic and hard plastic, don’t you? I can’t wait to have some people over for dinner!
And this is what I will be doing tomorrow:
Painting my little heart out! My friend Cheri is coming over to help me get the items for the craft show going….I only have three more weeks.
Oh, and here is a look at my tags for Elizabeth at Creative Breathings “Vintage Tag Swap” I did the Pyrex Primary Color Mixing Bowls!
I can’t wait to see the other 14 tags that will be added to this set! Have a great weekend!
Good morning! I recently bought a book on Ebay for 9.99, but you can occasionally find this book at Amazon.com in the used section for less. Mine is perfect and 10.00 was a deal! It normally retails for 24.95 at bookstores. This is like the finding the jackpot at the end of the rainbow for us vintage children’s card lovers!
This book is chock full of all of the wonderful cards we look for every day! And the scans are really good! So we can copy these easily for our tags and gifts we make others! There are copyright laws for these images as far as re-selling the images….but not if we use them personally.
There is 223 of colorful , wonderful vintage cards! Sorry the scan is a little crooked. :) I just wanted you to see a page. A great way to get out images without having to buy the cards all the time, and pay a fortune for them!
So, be on the outlook girls, you know who you are! LOL
Have a good week!
OK…I love them, I love to eat them, collect them, I covet them!
I have been a Peep lover since I was a child. The first thing gone in my basket???? The peeps!
But I digress, I just wanted to share these fun photos for today….I will have my collection out soon! I got rid of a lot of it, too big to store, but I still have a good amount…I will see you soon….
Enjoy!
How can you not love these little buggers? The colors make me crazy! LOL
Yes, I have these all! Have a good day everyone and I will be back with my peeps!
It is Remicade day….YEAH!
I have been working on my journals and enjoying the rain....NOT! I know we really really need this rain, but it is wreaking havoc with my RA…..
It isn’t like a soft nice rain, it is like this!
See the puddles in the granite? We have been having 1 to 1 1/2 inches per storm! Now you need to understand, this is un heard of here . We have been in a 5 year drought for almost 10 years. Since January 1st up to now, we have gotten more rain than we get in a whole 12 months usually! So this is a big deal! By the time this storm passed, I had a lake in the granite and the grass!
But, today is a beautiful day and I wanted to share the rest of the journals, I am making some other things that I will tell you about later. But I made 6 journals and that is enough. I get tired of things pretty quick! LOL
So this is my contribution to Rednesday! This one above is my favorite!
On to the next projects! I have bought a few older wooden kitchen items, my friend Cheri and I are going to paint them and add decals for that sweet 40’s vintage kitchen look!
Hope everyone is having a good week! Thanks for stopping by!
